Hey am a Newbie

Hi:)

My name is April am 17 and presently attend High School. Some things I enjoy doing is Shopping, learning Japanese and about the culture, researching the ancient history of Africa, surfing the net, eating out, hang with friends, Traveling and alot other stuff.

Anywayz am a stutter and I have been since I learned to talk. I feel that my stuttering hinders opportunities for me. Stuttering ruins many things for me like getting hired, meeting new people, and having a love life:(. But on the other hand stuttering has help me out in developing my literature and artistic skills which I take pride in. So I guess how I see my stuttering friend and a foe but, more of a foe.

I totally sympathize with you. I feel that my stuttering hinders my opportunities to succeed. I feel embarrassed about it when meeting new people. I am in college and is so hard to do presentations. Life goes on and we gotta make the best of it.:)

Hi Xcapeland, welcome to FLuency Quest. Yes, most of us will agree that a stutter can certianly be seen as a foe, but I love that you can see an upside to a diffcult situation. I can tell you will go far in life. Keep up the great work and I look forward to reading about it. Thanks.
