My stuttering was better in last two years, somehow after I moved to a new place it came back to me again. I have a new boyfriend and I am trying to hide it from him. I stuttered today and it was embarrassing. I tried different self-therapies lately, like singing out loud, practicing a word over and over again, those did help a little bit but not fundamentally. what should I do? I really want to get rid of this habit. I don't want to be bothered by this in my whole life. :(

2 things...
1) Tell your boyfriend that you stutter
2) Accept that you stutter
You cannot hide what you do. If you stutter the you stutter, after much real world experience I have found that the person who cares the most about my stutter is me. Everyone one else is like, 'OK whats the big deal?'
Just tell your boyfriend that you stutter, you will feel more relaxed, won't have to hide it and thus will stutter less.
